Our Alexander boho clutch is a beautiful vintage quilt wristlet wallet. Made of block printed Kantha fabric, it is a perfect addition to complete a bohemian look. Containing your everyday necessities, it is easy to carry around, thanks to the brown leather strap, or it can be placed inside a handbag to keep organized. To keep your valuables safe, the purse has a zipper on the top portion. The inside is lined with the chocolate brown cotton drill and features a small pocket (without a zipper). The Alexander clutch is also a perfect make-up bag or travel cosmetics pouch.
Each bag is a one-of-a-kind, made from unique hand-embroidered Kantha material. Our embroidery is always carefully selected for the best quality. We put extra emphasis on consciousness and fair trade, buying from recognized NGOs and women’s organizations, which empower the rural women of India. Helping them turn their crafts into contemporary work of art and offering them a fair value for their work encourages them to continue passing their amazing skills of tribal handwork to the next generations.
Due to the vintage character of the material combined in the bag, small defects in the fabric may appear, despite the cautious selection of material. Please note the front and back of the bag are never the same. Please note that all items are photographed in indirect natural light, colors may vary on monitors and mobile devices.

Kantha is an embroidery craft in some regions of the Indian subcontinent. Usually, old saris are layered on each other and hand-stitched with Kantha stitches to make a thin piece of cushion, light blanket, throw. These quilts are used for our Alexander clutch in a way to highlight their beauty and the hand-work.
We hand pick each blanket and take great care in repairing and dry clean processing before stitching our bags. Because of the vintage character of the material, small defects in the fabric may appear, despite our cautious selection.
